Updates on Carleton Traditions Final Project

Our project documenting and making a timeline for Carleton’s most popular and longstanding traditions is off to a great start! This Monday, Luisa and I met with Nat, an employee for Carleton College’s Archives. He helped us come up with a plan of action for our project, form a list of traditions we were interested in and told us a bit more about the Archives. Nat has been very helpful in our project so far! During class, my groupmates and I put all our preliminary traditions into a spreadsheet and researched what the traditions were and approximately when they began. I specifically researched the Schiller Bust, Friday Flowers and Broomball. Here is our blog post detailing where we are on our project and the changes we’ve made to make our project more interactive. As we continue to work on the project, I really want to help format the timeline and find pictures and videos within the Archives. Stay tuned for more updates soon!
